1997 3.0L w/100,000 miles. Engine makes a fairly noisy ticking or clicking sound which gets faster or slower depending on RPMs. The sound seems to be coming from the passenger side of the motor. There are no trouble codes being thrown and the motor is running fine with plenty of power.Also diesel tends to cost more (sometimes a lot more, it varies) and the initial purchase cost of the diesel is a lot higher.
