We had cigna at work and they switched to Aetna because they suck. In my personal experiences with Cigna, they almost always deny authorizations for procedures. It takes a lot of haggling with them to get anything other than your yearly wellness checkups done. I dealt with them for about 5 years and hated every minute of it.
