They are either intentionally the weakest. Or Tale worlds doesn't realise that Battania needs a buff. They have absolutely amazing noble troops in the form of the Fian archer. But they are expensive. Aren't cavalry and Seem to die to Crossbows like flies. In my honest opinion. There is only 1 thing I'd really do to make Battania an actual threat.

Battania has decent units, noble tree with Fians is best, they have also good Oatswords and Wildpigs good at melee, one od them can throw axes at enemy, battania have also weak cavarly. The key to win are Fians, they have many arrows, deal high dmg in large groups, and also they can fight in melee with 2h long swords or falxes, what ever they have.Faction - Battania Battanians have not changed much over the course of early access, they are still the best in ranged guerilla tactics. Their troops have been piling on armour over the course of early access, which helps keep Battanian kingdom in game for longer than previously.Noble troops do not appear with enough consistency or numbers in the base game to make them a core part of an army.
