Is a dye stealer at 5 weeks a good sign

This is my test from today at 5 weeks. I talked to my doctor about that (needing to see a dye stealer) and she laughed and said that seems like a good way to stress moms out. She said that if you’re testing everyday for piece of mind (which I do) then just focus on the positive not the darkness level.

I'm going to continue taking them to see, but will probably stop after another week if nothing changes. I have one clear blue test that I'm pretty sure would be a dye stealer if I took it, but I'm waiting until I know for sure lol I think they just suck. Dye stealers normally mean the HCG is higher than the tolerance of the test. However, it does mean that soon the lines may start to lighten because you're overwhelming the tolerance by 3x-4x and they stop working.
