I recently had to contact support for a failed DFI sensor (out of warranty), and got a response within a few days. After some discussion with support, they did send me a new DFI kit, so in total that process took about 2 weeks to have the replacement part delivered. Since you are still in warranty, I imagine that process will be quicker for you. Here's the thing: on the litter robot e-commerce shop, the only DFI kit available seems to be the Infrared Version. However, support articles have seem to suggest that the Laser Version is more reliable than the infrared version (less parts to manfunction).
