Possibly, but if you want to be safe I’d suggest you fight mithrix. I underwent a command run to unlock it and was firing off lights out like a machine gun on it, it does indeed count. My friend and I did the mithrix, frog, voidling thing and he didn't get the monsoon skin unlock, so idk. It doesn't count for the purpose of unlocking captain.
