The Dead Sea, located in Israel and Jordan, is the saltiest body of water in the world. It is even more saline than the ocean, and people who swim in it should not drink the water.

Why is ocean water salty. The advisory against drinking sea water is made under the assumption it is your only source of hydration. Unless you can get non-saline water to balance your salt/fluid ratio from somewhere else (like you probably can when your're eating salty soup in a civilized context) then the salt content in the sea-water will kill you.
