March/April 2023. Against all odds, some dives just refuse to die. If there's any justice in the world, Hole in the Wall will continue to be one of those bars. In the nearly 50 years since it opened its doors, the legendary campus-area live music venue has served as the launching pad for some of Austin's biggest musical acts.

Tim Austin is an American musician and former founding member of the Lonesome River Band. He is also the founder of Doobie Shea Records, a record label he ran from 1988 until 2004. In addition to the Lonesome River Band, he performed with numerous artists, including Marty Raybon.
